Disney has just released two new, ADORABLE film stills from Feast, the upcoming short by Paperman‘s head of animation Patrick Osborne. Shown above is but a fraction of the first still. To see both stills in all of their full-sized glory…

The plot: “Feast is the story of one man’s love life is seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.”

If the rumors are true, Feast will use the same stylized CG technique as Paperman. This technique was achieved using a program called Meander. Meander is a genius bit of coding, creating a style of CG animation that resembles hand-drawn, while simultaneously adhering to Disney’s current anti-hand-drawn mandate.
Audience reaction? DELIGHT!
Corporate egos? MASSAGED!
Feast will make its debut at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival (6/10), opening in theaters before Big Hero 6 (11/7).

As an added bonus: Another pic of the pup. This one is hand-drawn and hella blurry!
